Mercat de La Marina

Along with the Mercat de Fort Pienc, the Mercat de la Marina is one of city's newest markets. It was designed as part of the redevelopment plan for the neighbourhood of La Marina-Zona Franca, which replaced the old industrial facilities with new housing, green spaces and amenities. The market opened in 2003 and provided new premises for the stallholders from the area's old market, the Mercat del Port. Although it isn't very big, you'll still find fresh, quality produce.
