Les Aigües circuit

This itinerary lets you enjoy nature without leaving Barcelona, with a new perspective on the urban setting. The route begins with the spectacular views from Carretera de les Aigües, one of the most popular paths for runners and cyclists thanks to its gentle curves and panoramas. At 17.2 km long, it is an accessible route for all levels, ideal for enjoying a little fresh air while viewing the city from a new point of view.
There are several drinking fountains along the route, so we recommend bringing a reusable bottle.
Along the way you'll pass by the viewing point of Sant Pere Màrtir, one of the highest points on the route, with stunning views of Barcelona and the coast. This part of the route includes steep slopes, such as on Carrer de Santpedor, with a climb of 41m, or Camí de Santa Creu d'Olorda, which is sure to test your stamina.

It continues to Pantà de Vallvidrera, an oasis of peace in Parc de Collserola. This former reservoir, built in the 19th century, is a perfect place to relax, surrounded by woodland, and enjoy a moment of calm in a natural setting.
The itinerary also goes by Plaça Mireia, a popular entry point for hikers and athletes, with connections to more challenging routes.
The next stretch takes you back to Carretera de les Aigües. This last effort will be rewarded by the satisfaction of having completed a route which combines sports, nature, and unbeatable views of Barcelona.
