With the sculptural backdrop of the Forum's photovoltaic panel, the open-sea saltwater pool with a clearly defined bathing area is another way to enjoy the sea experience in Barcelona. Note that there is no sand and access to the water is via paved surfaces and stairs. Fewer people, more peace, and a stunningly photogenic spot!

Bathing support service for people with reduced mobility
This area provides a bathing support service with two hydraulic lifting chairs, as the access to the water here is vertical, life jackets, flotation devices, a pergola for sun protection, sun loungers, adapted changing rooms, toilets and showers, and a service to help people with reduced mobility enter and exit the water and enjoy swimming.

Opening times:

  • Mid bathing season (10:30 to 18:30): from 12 to 21 and 26 to 30 April, from 1 to 23 May, from 12 to 28 September, and on 4 and 5 October.
  • High bathing season (10:30 to 19:30): from 24 May to 11 September.
Barcelona's beaches are currently smoke-free spaces. Smoking is prohibited on the beach.
