Marcel·lí Antúnez Roca. 'Natura centrum est. Oval Camp' - Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya Exhibitions

The exhibition Natura Centrum Est. Campament Oval, by artist Marcel·lí Antúnez Roca, at the Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya (MNAC), transforms the Oval Hall into a participatory camp inhabited by backdrops, objects and installations created in collaboration with diverse collectives from 2014 to today. Central elements include the giant figure of Vulcan, “eyelid” backdrops and enormous drawings which, like pop-up books, change appearance when opened. The project champions nature, ecology and agrarian culture as the foundations of a communal, festive art. .
