The exhibition dedicated to Gonçal Sobrer at the Museu Can Framis – Fundació Vila Casas traces more than six decades in the career of an artist who defies classification. The show brings together nearly two hundred works —including paintings, objects, installations, photographs and documents— revealing a critical practice often developed from the margins. Rooted in the Poblenou neighbourhood, his work transforms local experience into a contemporary political metaphor and questions the boundaries between document and artwork.
