British conductor Sir John Eliot Gardiner returns to Barcelona at the helm of The Constellation Orchestra in a concert centred on Haydn's “La Passione”, one of the composer's most intense and expressive symphonies. Founded in 2024 as part of the Springhead Constellation project, the orchestra was created with the aim of offering rigorous, contemporary interpretations of the great classical repertoire. Internationally recognised as one of the most innovative conductors of our time, Gardiner presents his own ensemble in Spain for the second time, in one of the season's highlights. The concert forms part of Barcelona Obertura.
