L'Auditori, the Palau de la Música Catalana and the Gran Teatre del Liceu join forces in Barcelona Obertura in Christmas, a series of six concerts bringing together some of the most outstanding orchestras, soloists and conductors on the current scene.

The programme covers a wide musical spectrum: from Dvořák's romantic passion to Shostakovich's drama, from Donizetti's lyrical delicacy to Tchaikovsky's choreographic universe, along with Bach's spirituality and Bernstein's energy. On stage, names such as the Barcelona Symphony Orchestra and National Orchestra of Catalonia, the Palau Chamber Choir, Núria Rial, Pablo Ferrández, Kian Soltani and Christoph Prégardien, among others.

Three iconic auditoriums in the city thus become the shared stage for a festival that consolidates Barcelona as a musical capital at this time of year and offers the public the opportunity to celebrate winter to the rhythm of great musical scores.
