For many years, animals such as roosters, chickens, pigs and lambs were loaded alive for consumption during sea voyages, while others, such as cats or dogs, had assigned tasks. Since the 1970's, regulations on the transport of animals have becime stricter. The exhibition highlights anecdotes shared in discussions with former captains of the merchant marine and presents photographs from public and private collections, as well as images of pets on board vessels collected through social networks. It includes recreational elements such as a photocall and games related to the story of Noah's ark.
