The sounds of Gaudí. Playing it both waysClassical music and Opera

The Municipal band of Barcelona brings us a repertoire demonstrating that original music composed for these creations can encompass everything from   highly delicate music using very few instruments to a spectacular team of nearly 100 musicians. In order to demonstrate this, their conductor José Ramón Pascual Vilaplana will be conducting works by Joaquín Rodrigo, Paul Huber, Gunther Schuler and the highly anticipated, “Soulful Stones” by the Valencian José Suñer Oriola; which requires two full bands to perform it and which was inspired by different Gaudi works.
