Gandalf, Mordor, the Hobbits and the fascinating world of J.R.R. Tolkien were reflected by Howard Shore in opera, symphonic poetry and own themes full of epics. The composer won an Oscar to the best sound track and best song for this movie, which won a total of eleven Oscars, the same record number as Ben-Hur. We now have the chance to hear it live with the Orquestra Simfònica del Vallès, and several well-known choirs, while this fascinating trilogy is projected in original version with subtitles.
