Roma. 'Stupenda e Misera Città' - Pantalla Pavelló film series 2018Summer evenings, Film
06/18/2018 - 09/03/2018

Pantalla Pavelló is a cycle of alfresco movies, where movies are projected directly onto the travertine wall of the Pavelló Mies van der Rohe.
The Fundació Mies van der Rohe is running through different cities, represented with movies, which this time will be set in Rome. In the movie, the city is presented as a topic, in a stage context, as part of the discourse or how to explore urban space. The movie cycle shows the relation between this built area and the inhabitants that live there, and how this relation accentuates and shows its maximum expression, in some of the most extreme spaces: rings, roads, meeting places of high society, ghost streets in summer, tourist occupation and urban residual spaces.
A cycle which reflects on built space that surrounds us, the cities we want, and hence the society we are aiming for.
