Exhibitions and activities, Family activities
06/15/2020 - 12/2020
The "la Caixa" Foundation is reopening its science museum to the public on 15th June after adapting its interactive concept to the new safety measures. Initially, the museum will be operating at 30% capacity. The 6,000 m2 exhibition space, with its hand-on exhibits, has reinvented itself to ensure visitors enjoy a quality experience while ensuring compliance with the health and safety measures in place.
To ensure your visit to CosmoCaixa is as enjoyable as ever, a new team of educators, specialising in scientific topics, will take you on a thrilling tour of the Universe Room, where you'll learn about the cosmos and how it evolved; the Flooded Forest, which recreates an Amazonian ecosystem in an area of 1,000 m2; the Geological Wall; the temporary exhibition "Sabre-Toothed Cats and Mastodons"; and the Science Plaza.
The museum's summer activities will include, as always, the open-air film screenings, CosmoNits, in the Science Plaza. The science-fiction season "Mutations" will be the centrepiece of Thursday nights in July and August.
Make the most of the opportunity and enjoy an unforgettable journey through science!
