The exhibition “The Third Torsion” by Anna Moreno, presented at MACBA – Museu d'Art Contemporani de Barcelona, brings together recent works that reflect on temporality through utopian architecture and speculative imagination. The central piece is “The Terminal Beach”, a film co-directed with Bernardo Zanotta that revisits a nomadic settlement built in 1979 by architect Ricardo Bofill in the Algerian Sahara. Conceived as a modern and experimental project, the complex remained unfinished and today reveals the tension between the utopian ideals of the time and the historical realities that shaped them.
