The show Christmas at Sant Jaume transforms the central square into a stage of light and rhythm, celebrating the festive season outdoors. Conceived by Xavi Bové Studio, the digital art installation uses the façades of the historic buildings as a canvas for an immersive projection that transforms the space into a constantly moving visual universe.
The show unfolds a play of colours, stars and shapes that interact with the architecture, creating an atmosphere where stillness and light subtly merge. The square thus becomes a point of convergence between technology, visual poetry and urban heritage.
On several special nights—24th and 25th December, 31st December, 1st and 5th January—the lighting installation takes on special nuances, with a chromatic transformation that reinforces the festive spirit and fills the centre of Barcelona with vibrant symbolism.
