In the seventies, a generation of photographers demonstrated that one of the main rules of photography could be broken, the one that states that photography can only be artistic if it is in black and white. William Eggleston is a member of that generation. Born in 1939 in Memphis, Tennessee, USA, Eggleston is a living legend of contemporary photography. He was the first photographer to exhibit widely in color at the MoMa in New York in 1976. Now we can see one of the largest exhibitions to date in Spain of this exceptional photographer and admire how he knew how to portray reality in a captivating way.
