The 20th century witnessed from beginning to end the birth and "boom" of design. In this great period of time, women played a transcendental role and this exhibition programmed by the Disseny Hub of Barcelona examines with a critical eye the successes and working conditions of women in this field. Through a selection of design pieces such as furniture, interior design, textile design, ceramics, jewelry, graphic design and lighting, (all of them the work of women), we will be able to reflect on the female role in design with works by Charlotte Perriand, Gae Aulenti, Lina Bo Bardi and Eileen Gray amongst others.
