On January 22nd the world will celebrate the arrival of the Chinese New Year with the rabbit as this year's animal. This is, without a doubt, one of the most important dates in the traditional calendar and Barcelona's Chinese community do not want to miss the opportunity to share their culture with different events starting on January 21st.

This year, the central show will take place at the Arc de Triomf stage, where various performances will be held throughout the day. In addition to this main space, several Chinese schools and other entities will participate in activities and displays in various neighborhoods around the city that will allow visitors to enjoy traditional Chinese culture firsthand.

Apart from the on-site events, several online activities will be carried out to celebrate the arrival of the Year of the Rabbit.

Main activities:

  • Parade. January 21, at 11am. Avinguda de Vilanova.
  • Traditional Culture Shows and Gastronomic Fair. January 21, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Passeig de Lluís Companys.
