A new film festival is born, the Buddhist Film Festival of Catalonia, committed to the dissemination of Buddhist values such as non-violence, the interdependence of all living beings and respect for the environment and all forms of life. In order to bring them closer, different films and documentaries are screened that focus on several current topics, all of them priorities, such as gender equality, education and the climate emergency. The festival is organised by Coordinadora Catalana de Entidades Budistas [Catalan Coordinator of Buddhist Entities] with the collaboration of the Buddhist Film Foundation (BFF). In addition to films, the festival will include activities such as presentations, meditation sessions, workshops for children and film forums.
