07/22/2020 - 2020

Barcelona's maritime museum, the Museu Marítim, reopened on 22nd June with all the necessary protective measures against Covid-19 in place.

Housed inside the city's medieval shipyards, the Drassanes Reials – one of the finest examples of Catalan civil Gothic architecture – the museum puts maritime culture in the spotlight through its vast holdings, educational activities and temporary and permanent exhibitions. A place where you can enjoy the world of seafaring in an interactive, visual way.

The museum is currently holding the following exhibitions: "Siren Songs", "Les Sorres X", "The Beach, a Changing Space", "Catalonia Beyond the Sea" and "Merchant Vessels: the Transition from Sails to Engines".
