Breathe in the air and steep yourself in art nouveau at Sant Pau
Exhibitions and activities
06/26/2020 - 2020
The Sant Pau art nouveau site reopens on 26th June. The specifications of the complex fully comply with the current safety measures.
The former Santa Creu i Sant Pau hospital is one of the world's biggest art nouveau sites and was designed by Domènech i Montaner as a small garden city made up of separate pavilions and set among areas where patients could recuperate and green spaces. During your visit, you'll be able to explore 1 km of underground galleries, four historic buildings now open to the public, exhibition spaces and more than 18,000 m2 of gardens.
Timed tickets will be on sale and feature discounts and free deals for health workers and the unwaged. The new opening times are Tuesday to Saturday from 10am to 5pm and Sunday and public holidays from 10am to 2.30pm. The audioguide service has been temporarily discontinued but you can download the content as a mobile app.
There will be an admission charge on the first Sunday of the month (as part of the 'Solidarity Sundays' initiative) – except for the over 65s and under 12s – to raise funds for projects associated with COVID-19.
Now's the time to enjoy one of Barcelona's most magical spaces!
