The Flemish conductor Philippe Herreweghe conducts Collegium Vocale, interpreting St John' s Passion by Bach, the first of five Passions written by the outstanding composer. The work has a strong dramatic impact and striking musical richness. Collegium Vocale has been in existence for more than 50 years, playing German baroque music and specializing in vocal works of Bach. Under the baton of Herreweghe, it is undoubtedly a unique opportunity to admire the mystical polyphony of Bach in all its intensity.
