Beethoven: 3rd and 5th symphoniesClassical music and Opera

Jordi Savall is one of the most interesting, well-recognized and award-winning musical personalities on today's cultural scene. He also plays the viola de gamba and is an orchestra conductor. With the Le Concert des Nations orchestra, he has managed to bring classical music performed with period instruments to a much wider audience. In this season at the Auditori, Savall continues with the performances of the entirety of Beethoven's symphonies, which began last season on the occasion of the 250th anniversary of the birth of this brilliant composer, and now it is time for the Third and Fifth Symphonies. In this unmissable event, Le Concert des Nations brings us a third symphony bursting with contrasts and high drama and the fifth symphony, the most frequently performed of Beethoven's symphonies, which features one of the most famous opening bars in all of musical history
