Lee Miller and Surrealism in BritainExhibitions and activities
10/31/2018 - 01/20/2019

In this exhibition we find Lee Miller (photographer) and Roland Penrose (artist) as the leading ambassadors of the surrealist cause in Britain. They were close friends with Joan Miró, culminating in his monographic exhibition at the Tate Gallery.

As part of the surrealist movement in the United Kingdom and through Miller's career as a photographer, we are taken on a journey up to the start of the fifties, featuring the artists involved in the movement and their work. There is a great variety of work on show including photographs, sculptures and paintings by such well-known names as Man Ray, Henry Moore, Salvador Dalí and Max Ernst, to name but a few.

Free guided tour on Sundays, at 11am (catalan) and 12:30 (spanish).
