Fundació Suñol


The Fundació Suñol is a private non-profit making organization which opens to the public Josep Suñol's contemporary art collection. At the same time, the foundation promotes the encouragement of the production and diffusion of avant-garde art.

The Josep Suñol Collection comprises more than 1.200 works of art, with artists such as Warhol, Picasso, Miró, Dalí, Tàpies, Man Ray, Gargallo, Calder, Giacometti, Gordillo, Zush, Boetti, Solano, Lootz, Plensa, García-Alix, Colomer and Abad among others, and it is exhibited in different formats, from chronological sequences to dialogues and interactions between the different pieces of the collection.

The Fundació Suñol also includes a multidisciplinary space, known as Nivell Zero, which borders the general exhibition space and is located within the same block as the Pedrera by Antoni Gaudí. It provides a kind of container for small exhibitions, debates, poetry sessions, concerts, conferences and workshops.
The visit to this collection offers a unique knowledge of the most representative artists from the sixties until today.
