  Santa Eulàlia Festival

  The Santa Eulàlia Festival, the winter festival of Barcelona, is for all the family. During these magical days, tribute is paid to the brave Laia, the girl who rebelled to defend her aims. For the city of Barcelona, this girl was a symbol of solidarity, in defence of justice and commitment to young people. Santa Eulàlia and la Mare de Déu de la Mercè are co-patron saints of Barcelona. To celebrate this festival, different activities are organized for all the family. You can’t miss the giants, the processions or the firework street run, human towers, sardanas dancing and musical bands throughout different routes of the city, apart from other activities for both young and old.
  On 12th February, the Santa Eulàlia feast day, several events are held, such as raising the Penó de Santa Eulàlia (reproduction of an old banner of the city) on the balcony of City Hall, sardanas dancing, giants...

  Family Activities at Poble Espanyol

  A large area, totally free of traffic, with different places to explore, most of them in the open air. That's the Poble Espanyol de Barcelona, an iconic visitor attraction in the heart of Montjuïc.   Barcelona Dibuixa

  Barcelona Dibuixa is a day-long event during which both well-known and emerging artists, illustrators, architects and designers hold fun workshops, at no charge, for everyone wishing to experience the world of drawing, in a free and spontaneous way.
  
  This year, the festival is part of the events celebrating the 50th anniversary of Picasso's death and the 60th anniversary of the opening of the Museu Picasso in Barcelona.

  FLIC Festival, which aims to bring literature closer to children through creation and experimentation, is back. This is a different kind of festival, one that is filled with experiences aimed at promoting the enjoyment of literature and the arts through experimental formats requiring the involvement of all those who accompany children in literary discovery: family, teachers, writers and librarians, and many others.

  L'Orgullosa Barcelona Festival

  Barcelona shows itself to the world as a reference in the defense of the rights and freedoms of LGTBI groups, the fight against LGTBI-phobia and in the promotion of sexual and gender diversity, and it does so through L'Orgullosa. This celebration, with a month-long program, proposes activities, workshops and artistic proposals that will go through the streets of the city's districts to make this celebration enjoyed by all citizens. A meeting point to celebrate and vindicate the diversity, love and pride of the LGTBIQ + community.

  The former factories of Can Ricart and Can Felipa

  The industrial architecture in Poblenou has been put to new uses adapted to the needs of today. Many of the old factories that people can find in Barcelona have been remodelled in order to house new activities. This is the case of Can Felipa and Can Ricart.

• La Farinera del Clot

  The former Farinera del Clot stands on one side of the Plaça de les Glòries, and its new facilities have been open since 1995. Long gone is the industrial past of an aesthetically elegant building which combines the characteristic elements of the original mill with contemporary structures.

  Sants Festival how to become one of the locals

  In summer, in June and September, Barcelona's former villages host their neighbourhood festivals. They are the perfect excuse to visit the city and lose yourself in its districts that are dressed up to the nines. The Sants Festival keeps alive the spirit of a major festival that used to be held in honour of Saint Bartholomew, the patron saint of the former village of Sants.
