    Over its history, the Restaurant 7 Portes has hosted a range of cultural and artistic activities. It was the regular meeting place for leading people like Pablo Picasso, Joan Miró, Rafael Alberti, García Lorca, Salvador Dalí. The walls of this establishment have been and are the testimonial of viewpoints and opinions from many different fields.

    Following this vocation and commitment, 7 Portes is presenting the 9th season of Lyrical Dinners. Dinners based on a lyrical vocal performance, with the participation of young talents. An opera informative activity to present young opera singers, some of whom are already well-known to the public and critics.

    Gastronomy naturally plays an important role. A perfect balance for all senses.

    Gran Teatre del Liceu Season 20212022

    The Gran Teatre del Liceu is one of Barcelona's iconic venues and among the world's most spectacular opera houses. It begins the new season with an ambitious series of performances to celebrate its 175 anniversary.

    The season will feature major works such as Rigoletto, Le nozze di Figaro, Don Giovanni and Così fan tutte.

    The theatre will also be hosting dance performances featuring The nutcracker performend by the Théâtre du Capitole Toulouse Ballet, Giselle d'Akram Khan performed by the English National Ballet and La nit de Sant Joan by Robert Gerhard.

    There will also be concert performances of works by Strauss, Beethoven, Puccini and Berlioz. And, finally, families will be able to enjoy the season for kids, the Petit Liceu, which will feature different shows, including The Little Magic Flute, La Barcarola and The Monster in the Maze.

    The Gran Teatre del Liceu de Barcelona presents David McVicar's successful production of this Mozart opera. This work of classic plot (the fight of good and evil) has, however, ambiguous and disconcerting characters. McVicar has chosen to make a very spectacular montage with dancing animals, flying machines and starry skies to explain the fantastic story of the search for Prince Tamino and his beloved Pamina. In addition, this production has the bonus of the acclaimed Gustavo Dudamel making his debut with this title.
