La Rambla
Barcelona wouldn’t be Barcelona without the Rambla. A wander up and down this famous boulevard is a ritual well worth observing. Just soak up the atmosphere and admire the buildings, from the Canaletes fountain to the Columbus Monument, which connect the old and modern city with places like Liceu and Boqueria. A walk through the life and history of the city.

Casa Parramon was founded in 1897 and is Spain’s most prestigious and oldest violin making workshop of its kind. It specialises in the sale, repair and restoration of classical stringed instruments: Violins, Violas, Cellos, Double basses and guitars: classical, flamenco, classical and flamenco guitars with pick up and a wide range of accessories: cases, bows, strings. We also stock traditional Catalan and Spanish instruments. We also do sound adjustments and set up all tune instruments and provide advice about the most suitable instrument for each level, either for amateurs, students or professional musicians. We work with the leading violin and bow-makers from France, Italy, Spain, Germany and Switzerland in order to offer a wide range of top-quality products with a full guarantee. All our instruments are fully guaranteed and thoroughly checked in our workshop. Casa Parramon is run by the third generation of the Pinto family, who continue with the tradition of hand-made production and have set the benchmark in the world of music and instruments. The shop also showcases a fine collection of historic and ethnic instruments from around the world and photographs of musicians from Spain and abroad. The collection can be visited free of charge.
