Eric-Emmanuel Schmitt, a contemporary French author whose work is currently among the most widely read and performed, wrote "El Llibertí" (The Libertine) using the philosopher Diderot as its central character. He has just one day to write the definition of "Morality" for his new encyclopedia, but the interruption of four women is destined to make it very difficult for him to define "morality" as just one single concept. The result is a brilliant, intelligent and very amusing comedy.
