Robert King & The King’s ConsortClassical music and Opera

In this concert, Robert King's ensemble is performing a musical reconstruction of the coronation of King George II, which took place in 1727 at Westminster Abbey. The orchestra and choir will perform fanfares, hymns and ceremonial works by Henry Purcell, John Blow, William Child, John Farmer, Thomas Tallis and Orlando Gibbons, without forgetting “Zadok de Priest” by the maestro Händel.
