Ainhoa Arteta & Orquestra Simfònica Camera MusicaeClassical music and Opera

Before he died, the great Richard Strauss composed his Four Last Songs, which contemplate death and the acceptance of destiny, in a calm, peaceful way. Strauss was unable to hear them played during his lifetime, as they were not performed until May 1950 in London by the Norwegian soprano, Kristen Flagstad. To listen to these songs by the Basque soprano Ainho Arteta is a gift for all senses. She knows them well and has worked on them for over a decade, because she considers them "so sublime that it is difficult to achieve perfection".
