The Gràcia festival attracts more than one and a half million people Barcelona’s Gràcia district has its own distinctive personality. A former village that was absorbed by the city in the late 19th century. With its narrow streets and the Park Güell as its iconic landmark, Gràcia still retains the essence of a typical village which is expressed to the full between 15th and 21st August when it celebrates its popular festival. The "Festa Major de Gràcia" dates back more than 200 years and is the city’s only major celebration, in addition to its main festival, to have received the honorary designation of Festival of National Tourist Interest. |
In Barcelona there is so much to see, to listen to and to dance to… |
