The 24 Motorcycling Hours of Montjuic was the most charismatic race out of all the ones which took place in the former urban circuit in Barcelona, due to the empathy that fans felt with all those heroes fighting day and night to run faster in spite being tired, accidents and breakdown of their bikes. This new temporary exhibition at the Barcelona Motorcycle Museum aims to pay tribute and recognition to all those magic moments experienced along the 32 editions of this race between 1955 and 1986 which arrived to its end only with a view to protect the safety of both the riders and the fans.
It is the first time in history that 20 motorcycles which took part in this mythic race are exhibited in a common area, amongst which some of them actually won the race. The exact replica of a box, trophies and endless items connected with this race, deserve special attention too, together with the original posters of all those years kindly lent by Peña Motorista Barcelona, entity who organized this race throughout its history.
